MAT-SU — Imagine leaving your desk on a sunny day with your co-workers and spending two hours planting flowers. Picture you and your friends laughing, smelling the earth come alive from its long winter sleep, as you rake up debris. Now imagine that the work you are doing is benefiting one of the many Valley non-profits, who help so many in the community have a better quality life. You are a part of helping and it feels so good.
You can have this experience May 18 during the Day of Caring, or any time the following week. There’s a range of volunteer opportunities for all ages and levels of experience. The options are Valley-wide.
