‘Day of Service’ was awesome

To the editor:

Words cannot express the deep gratitude we feel for all the many volunteers who came and helped with the Government Peak Day of Service Sept. 14. We had more than 600 volunteers sign in. It was such an awesome experience to rub shoulders with and work along side with community families, individuals, and members of all faiths in a wholesome effort to promote good community service. We especially thank the Frontiersman, local businesses, and the Mat-Su Borough for all their support, donations and encouragement with this project.
