Kamio Humes signs her tax return documents for Liberty Tax Service’s Amanda Skiff Monday afternoon. Liberty Tax Service has already e-filed more than 2,100 returns. The office expects to file about 2,600 returns before the Wednesday tax deadline. Liberty will be open until 9 p.m through Wednesday.

If you wait until the last moment to file your taxes, both the Palmer and Wasilla branches of the U.S. Post Office will accept IRS returns until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

Palmer Post Offce

500 N. Cobb St.

Lobby: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

For IRS returns, a drop box will accept mail until 11:59 p.m.

Wasilla Post Office

401 N. Main St.

Lobby: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

For IRS returns, a drop box will accept mail until 11:59 p.m.
