Democratic caucus clarified

It is important that there be some clarification of the report of the Mat-Su Democratic Caucus on March 26.

The news item was inaccurate in reporting that District 9 caucused in Valdez! The leader of the Caucus and District Chair, Dan Heynen, led District 9's four locations from Houston HS, where 90 enthusiastic Democrats attended — by far the largest turnout of the other locations in the district. Because of its vast distances, four locations worked in coordination: Houston HS, Delta Junction, Mendeltna Lodge, and Valdez to provide Democrats throughout the district an opportunity to take part in this very important process.

The 2016 Mat-Democratic Caucus brought together, both physically and by phone in District 9, enthusiastic Democrats eager to indicate their support for their candidate! It was a good day for Democrats in the Mat-Su and all the caucus locations in the state.
