July 19, 2002 – August 25, 2020
Devin Russel Miller of Palmer, Alaska was born to Jeremy and Nicole Miller on July 19, 2002.
Devin passed from this life into a brighter day on August 25, 2020 at the age of 18 on his way home from Metal Creek Mechanical where he was a pre-apprentice sheet metal worker.
Devin was a lifelong and striving member of Old Apostolic Lutheran Church Of Palmer, Alaska. Devin’s greatest concern was for his brothers’ and sisters’ Christianity, as his parents recalled in recent visits with him. In one of his final visits he pondered what God had in store for him, and he accepted that he be patient. Devin joins his cousin Haylie Brookey, sister Angela, and two foster siblings Preston and Anna, where the sun never sets.
Left longing for him are mom and dad, Nicole and Jeremy Miller; five brothers, Daniel (Daesha) of Wasilla, AK, Darrel, Dylan, Derek, all at home and foster brother Kyle; four sisters, Megan (Daniel) Blomquist of Palmer, AK, Sara McColgan, McKenzi and Melanie at home; grandparents, David Miller, Marty and Sherrie Martin, and Peder and Cherie Pedersen; and many aunts, uncles, nephews and a host of Christian brothers and sisters.
