WASILLA — The Dimond Lynx skated to a 9-1 win over the West Valley Wolfpack during the first round of the ASAA/First National Cup 4A State Hockey Tournament at the Curtis C. Menard II Memorial Ice Arena in Wasilla on Thursday.
Dimond will now play the winner of the Soldotna-Chugiak first-round bout in the state semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Menard Arena.
