MAT-SU — A contract agreement between the Mat-Su Borough School District and the Mid-Level Management Association has set the terms for 24 supervisors and managers for the next three years.
An annual salary increase of 2.5 percent and contributions to health insurance top out the contract. Supervisors and managers will receive $14,300 toward health insurance in year one, $14,500 in year two and $14,800 in year three. If the Classified Employees Association, the union representing the district’s support staff, receives a higher offer, employees under the MLMA will also receive the higher negotiated terms, according to a school district statement.
Also, the 24 supervisors will have Martin Luther King Jr. Day off.
The agreement will be presented to the Mat-Su Borough School Board May 7 for approval.
