There are so many websites available to give us good information and daily motivational suggestions. I recently went to www.realage.com and plugged in my personal data to find out my body's "real age." I signed up for their daily tips and get a daily inspirational or nutritional tip. Hopefully your are really younger than what your birthday says!
Something I have noticed in evaluating Alaskans' daily food intake is that they do not eat enough fruit. We should have 3 servings of fruit per day. I suggest you have fruit as your "dessert". It will take awhile for you to view it as dessert if you are used to eating a cookie or something with sugar or high fructose corn syrup in it. After a couple weeks of doing this you will have established a good, healthy habit and fruit will taste sweet to you. Frozen berries are very tasty after thawing and are pretty low in calories. Make sure you buy the kind without syrup or corn syrup. I usually take my berries out at night and they are thawed for my yogurt in the morning.
