Doesn’t understand priorities

To the editor:

In his recent Spectrum column, Dan Sullivan made a case for electing himself to the U.S. Senate. Yet, Sullivan’s Department of Natural Resources granted dozens of permits for the proposed Pebble mine, which most Alaskans oppose. At the same time, he disregarded water reservations for our own fishermen and conservationists.

As Ted Stevens said, wrong mine, wrong place.

Maybe if Dan Sullivan hadn’t just recently moved to Alaska he would understand our state’s priorities a little better.
