• Palmer Lodge No. 793, Loyal Order of Moose member Donald Snovel of Palmer received the order’s highest honor, the “Pilgrim Degree of Merit” during a conferral ceremony May 25 in the House of God at Mooseheart, Ill. Snovel will receive the much-coveted gold blazer during a ceremony at 2 p.m., Oct. 12 at the Palmer Lodge 793 attended by other Pilgrims, members of the higher degrees of both the Loyal Order of Moose and Women of the Moose, family, friends, community leaders and other members of the Order of Moose. Leaders of the Alaska-HawaiiAssociationalso will be present to offer their congratulations.
