America has never been a perfect country. We have made many mistakes and have many flaws. However, America is a great nation. Every year hundreds of thousands of people try to come to America. It is sad but many today are trying to fundamentally change America. They are trying to replace biblical Christianity with a new pagan religion.
The greatest drive in any person is the desire to know God. We are made in the image of God. We are created for relationship. We are made to know God. God gave us two legs. We can look up or we can look down! We must look up and choose biblical Christianity and reject the new pagan religion. Critical race theory is the new paganism.
The Christian faith begins with original sin. Adam sinned and plunged the human race into disaster. His sin brought separation with God. The new paganism defines original sin as privilege. Systemic racism is the new original sin. The great enemy is patriarchy. Patriarchy and the nuclear family must be destroyed.
The gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins. Romans 6:23 says, “The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The good news of Christ’s sacrifice is replaced with wokeness. Salvation is achieved by being aware and understanding and seeing the systemic racism in our society.
Sanctification is the process of overcoming the power of sin. It is becoming more like Jesus. The new paganism views sanctification as activism. The supreme virtue is changing our culture and overthrowing the established order.
Orthodoxy is accurately believing and teaching Scripture. 2 Timothy 2 says, “Be diligent to present yourselves approved to God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).” Orthodoxy is replaced today with political correctness.
The Bible teaches unification. We are one in Christ Jesus. We are part of a body. We are joined together. We are united through Christ Jesus. Unification in the new paganism is replaced with intersectionality. Intersectionality teaches that society is organized upon systemic racism. It is white versus black. It is men versus women. It is rich versus poor. It divides the world into white oppressors versus non-white victims. The poor, lesbian, minority woman has more authority than the person born into white privilege in Alaska.
Jesus on the cross said, “It is finished!” He paid the price in full for our sins. Salvation in Christianity offers forgiveness. Once a sin is confessed it is thrown into the deepest part of the ocean never to be remembered again (Psalm 103:12, Micah 7:19). In critical race theory there is no redemption. The sentence is eternal condemnation. Once woke, always woke. Even groveling apologies by supplicants are not accepted.
Church discipline is replaced by public shaming. Twitter accounts are cancelled. Three strikes and you are out- no more Facebook!
The great reformer Martin Luther rediscovered the biblical doctrine of salvation by faith. Christ alone plus faith alone by grace alone plus Scripture alone was the hallmark of the Reformation. Martin Luther in the new paganism is replaced by Martin Luther King. Dr. King is the great hero.
Many years ago the nation of Israel faced chaotic times. The prophet Jeremiah reminded the nation that the old ways are the best ways. Jeremiah said, “Thus says the Lord, ‘Stand in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk in it and you shall find rest for your souls.’” He wept as he called the nation to remain faithful to Yahweh. Alaska, let’s not lose the great heritage handed down to us. Let’s not replace biblical Christianity with a new paganism.
