One person was airlifted to an Anchorage hospital and three others taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center following a Sunday afternoon two-vehicle head-on crash on Palmer Wasilla Highway and near Vroman Road.
Alaska State Troopers responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m. Investigation revealed a 1990 Oldsmobile Silhouette westbound van driven by 22-year old Brandon Wolsterman of Palmer, crossed the centerline striking an eastbound 2015 Ford Taurus driven by 88-year old Glen Erps of Oregon.
Two passengers were in the Erps vehicle. The van contained two occupants. Its passenger was airlifted to Anchorage with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
