PALMER — Helped by an early lead, the Palmer Moose earned a 10-7 win over the Houston Hawks at Hermon Brothers Field Thursday night.
Palmer scored six runs in the second inning of the victory. Cameron Jensen led the Moose at the plate with five RBI. Ryan Perkins drove in a pair of runs. Adam Christiansen led the Moose with two hits.
Elias Stratton pitched a complete game to earn in win on the mound for Palmer. Stratton scattered eight hits in seven innings, fanned five and walked
five.
Cody Buntin had a pair of hits, including a home run to lead Houston. Mitchell Ruta finished with two hits and two RBI. Bradley Fortin scored twice for the Hawks.
