Big Lake Baptist Church has planned an Easter egg hunt from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Saturday for children ages 1 through fifth grade.
First Baptist Church of Wasilla has planned an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m., Saturday.
Easter Bunny at Wasilla Senior Center Saturday
Pancake breakfast with the Easter Bunny is from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday at Wasilla Senior Center off Knik-Goose Bay Road. Tickets are $5 per person, or $20 for a family of up to six people. Ticket includes a photo with the Easter Bunny. Proceeds benefit the local CCS Early Learning Centers. For more information, contact 745-4040.
Trailhead Wesleyan Church’s Easter Sunday Celebration, including a full brunch and an Easter egg hunt for kids, begins at 9:15 a.m., with brunch and an egg hunt to follow. Trailhead meets at the Babcock Fine Arts Building (Sonja’s School of Dance) next to Fish Creek Sales on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway.
The Houston Fire Department Auxiliary Easter egg hunt is from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, at the Little Susitna Campground. The fun includes a potluck barbecue with hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks provided. People are asked to bring a dish to share at the potluck. Prizes will be awarded according to age group for the children.
Cross Country Church has planned a special Easter event at the Mat-Su Cinema starting at 10:30 a.m., Easter Sunday.
