Easy for those who don't work to criticize coal

To the editor,

It’s one thing to sit on the side of the coal question from the point of view of being the part of our Native people, who receive government health care, housing, schools, etc., or being on the side of the balance of the population, who have to work and pay their own way with housing, school and medical care.

Are you looking at the question as to keeping Mother Nature pristine and protected, or from the working mom’s point of view? Hers is a matter of making ends meet, paying taxes, raising and educating your children, paying for their health care on your dime. They don’t have the comfort of someone else carrying the load of expenses.

We have to pay our own way.
