Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Palmer resident and lifelong Alaskan Edmond Albion Fondahn Jr., 83, died Aug. 10, 2005, at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, of natural causes.
His ashes will be scattered over Seldovia.
Mr. Fondahn was born March 13, 1922, in Seldovia.
He served in the Merchant Marines as a tugboat operator and retired from Foss Tug of Seattle.
Mr. Fondahn is survived by his niece, Christine Woods/Soulak of Palmer and husband, David; niece, Mary Nagel of Palmer and husband, Pete; nephew, Emil Fondahn of Palmer; sister, Karen Swartz of Seward and husband; Robert, and numerous relatives.
Arrangements are with Kehl's Palmer Mortuary.
