Lifelong Alaskan and Wasilla resident, Edward Odin Strandberg, 87, died of cancer Oct. 29, 2002, at Valley Assisted Living in Palmer. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Best Western Lake Lucille Inn in Wasilla.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be sent to Valley Assisted Living or Hospice of Mt-Su, 3051 E. Palmer-Wasilla Hwy., Wasilla AK 99654, or to a charity of choice.
