MAT-SU — Alaskans who qualify will receive $3,269 this year from the Permanent Fund Dividend and the one-time, $1,200 resource rebate.
The amount of this year’s dividend, $2,069, is a record.
Dividends for eligible Alaskans will begin to be direct-deposited into bank accounts Sept. 12. Those receiving their checks in the mail should begin seeing money the week of Sept. 30.
The previous record for the dividend occurred in 2000, when eligible Alaskans got $1,964.
Only Alaskans who lived in the state during the entire calendar year of 2007 and applied by March 31 will get the checks.
