Emergency crews responded to small plane crash near Willow Saturday evening.
Alaska State Troopers received a report just after 6 p.m. Saturday that a small, single-engine plane had crashed a private airstrip near Mile 68 of the Parks Highway. A pilot and passenger were on the plane when it crashed. Both people were transported to area hospitals in critical condition, according to troopers.
The National Transportation Safety Board was notified.
