Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Seriously you guys! The Frontiersman has been around for quite a while (1947 is it?), and I have always loved reading it.
I, as well as all other Alaskans and Valley residents, realize what a big deal it is, and how important it is, that Sarah is in the spotlight. But, does that mean that you have to forget that the rest of the Valley still exists and not report on anything EXCEPT her or her family?
Right on your front page, under your name, it says, “Your Hometown Newspaper.” Can you get back to being that, at least for one day a week?
Your newspaper should take pride in staying true to the Valley, and her residents, and reporting on EVERYTHING that is important to us. Maybe if you start doing that again, we will pick up another issue of the paper to read. If the only thing I wanted to hear about was Sarah, I could look anywhere else.
I still care about my neighbors, and I think the rest of the Valley would agree.
Would you please send out a newsletter to the Valley when you begin doing your job again? Thanks!
