I retired after 23 years working in the Mat-Su Legislative Information office. I am now in my second term as the District 4 Mat-Su Borough Assembly representative. I only mention this experience so that you may know that throughout those many years I have had the opportunity work with and get to know scores of elected officials.
I am pleased to share with you that Wasilla City Councilman Mark Ewing stands among the best of those who chose to serve us with honor and integrity. On many occasion he ruffled feathers in the effort to shed light on important issues. Councilman Ewing’s achievements and fine service to our community will have a great impact on our community and will be long remembered.
Mark, thank you for picking up the torch and carrying it so high. You will be missed!
