Fair announces final performers for 2011

PALMER — Alaska State Fair has announced four additional acts that will be part of the 2011 state fair. Tickets are on sale now and all events take place at the Borealis Theatre during the fair.

Joining the existing line up are Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion, the band Staind and comedian Gabriel Iglesias.

Acts for 2011 are:

• Queensrÿche — Aug. 25, 7 p.m. — Tickets are $30 for general admission, and $45 for reserved seating. Plus fair admission. Please note there is no seating at this concert.

• Chevelle — Aug. 26, 7 p.m. —Tickets are $35 for general admission, and $50 for reserved seating. Plus fair admission.

• Craig Morgan — Aug. 27, 7 p.m. — Tickets are $30 for general admission, and $45 for reserved seating. Plus fair admission.

• Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion Summer Love Tour — Aug. 28, 3 p.m. — Tickets are $35 for general admission, and $75 for reserved seating. Plus fair admission.

• Foghat — Aug. 29, 7 p.m. — Tickets are $10 for general admission, and $25 for reserved seating. Plus fair admission.

• Charlie Daniels Band — Aug. 30, 7 p.m. —Tickets are $25 for general admission, and $50 for reserved seating. Plus fair admission.

• Rat Pack Revue — Aug. 31, 7 p.m. — Tickets are $10 for general admission, and $25 for reserved seating. Plus fair admission.

• Uncle Kracker — Sept. 1, 7 p.m. — Tickets are $30 for general admission, and $45 for reserved seating. Plus fair admission.

• Staind — Sept. 2, 7 p.m. — Tickets are $35 for general admission, and $60 for reserved. Plus fair admission. Please note there is no seating at this concert.

• Gabriel Iglesias — Sept. 3, 7 p.m. — Tickets are $35 for general admission, and $60 for reserved seating. Plus fair admission.

• OneRepublic — Sept. 4, 6 p.m. — Tickets are $35 for general admission, and $50 for reserved. Plus fair admission. Please note there is no seating at this concert.

• Colbie Caillat — Sept. 5, 7 p.m. — Tickets are $35 for general admission, and $55 for reserved seating. Plus fair admission.
