Faith-Based Disaster Resiliency Group forming

To the editor:

All villages along the Yukon River affected by flooding still have many needs to help with their long-term recovery. There are also many groups and individuals helping in several villages and there needs are many.

If there is a faith-based group, business or other group in the Valley that is interested in what the current needs are, give me a call and I will give you contact information.

In the Mat-Su, we are in the process of establishing a Faith-Based Disaster Resiliency Group to help those affected by disasters with long-term recovery needs.

Our next meeting is at 7:30 p.m., Sept. 26. If you are interested in the group, contact 745-1968.
