Trinity plans ‘Longest Night’ event
Trinity Lutheran Church will open its worship center on Monday, Dec. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. for anyone in the midst of grief or loss. “This time is designed to acknowledge both the grief and loss in one’s life and the hope that the birth of Christ brings,” according to a release issued by the church. There will be opportunities to light candles, sit in silence and hear songs of hope. The church is located at 10355 Palmer Wasilla Highway.
