The Wasilla Sportsman’s Warehouse will host a fashion show fund-raiser at 1 p.m. Saturday. The fund-raiser will feature multiple events, as well as a performance by Alaska’s own Hobo Jim.
The event will benefit booster clubs from Colony, Wasilla and Palmer high schools. Students will raise money through a fashion show featuring the latest lines of clothing carried by Sportsman’s Warehouse, as well as selling raffle tickets and snacks.
Clothing presented in the fashion show will be auctioned off to the highest bidders in the appropriate sizes of the winners.
There will also be contests for the most abused waders, most tattered Carhartt clothing, most decorated fishing vest and best vintage hunting attire.
Contestants must register by Friday at the Sportsman’s Warehouse customer service counter or by contacting the Wasilla Devery Prince Allstate Agency at 376-7638.
