Father allegedly owes $20,000 in child support

PALMER – A 50-year-old father of five allegedly owes the state $20,000 in back child support, according to criminal charges filed Thursday.

Leonard M. Hill, 50, was charged with a single count of criminal non-support, which, as a Class C felony, carries a potential penalty of up to five years in prison and a $50,000 fine.

Hill is next due in court March 4 to hear the charge against him. His criminal record in Alaska contains nothing more serious than a 2008 drunken driving conviction and a 2005 reckless driving conviction.
