Hello fellow Trim to Winners!
Can you believe that we are in the final 3 weeks of the challenge? I can’t! This time has really flown by, at least for me.
Welcome back from Hawaii, Charlene. It sounds like you’re tanned and ready to finish this challenge strong.
I lost another pound and a half this last week, so I’m still on track to reach my 30 pound goal by April 8th. I have now passed the 25 pound mark! I have not been very good about going to the gym, but I am getting some exercise in every day. Tomorrow, I have set myself an appointment to go to the gym, so we’ll see if I’ve been keeping up with the strength training.
The Trim to Win grand finale is taking shape. We will announce the top winners live on Monday, April 14th at the AT&T Sports Center. The festivities begin at 6:30pm and we plan to have lots of fun, food (healthy food, of course) and excitement as the top losers are announced. I hope you all can join us.
The healthy eating gets easier every day, so I guess that means I’ve now made healthy eating a habit. I haven’t had a good, old-fashioned chocolate craving in more than a month now. We’ve been eating lots of chicken, turkey, fish, salads and vegetables and find it fun to find different ways to prepare food. We’ve expanded our spice selection, as well. Tonight I made a mango-pineapple salsa with no sugar or sweetener to top off baked Mahi Mahi, and it turned out excellent, if I do say so.
I used to think healthy eating was boring; how wrong I was!
I look forward to meeting many of you at the grand finale. See you there!
