Like most people my weight has gone UP and DOWN my entire adult life. My husband has just returned from 15 months in Iraq…lets just say food was a comfort for me while he was gone. For Christmas my husband surprised me and my three boys with a vacation coming in July! In 15 years we have not been on one so I guess NOW is the time. I am VERY excited but it just so happens I WILL HAVE TO WEAR SHORTS AND A BATHING SUIT!!! One of many reasons I love Alaska is I can survive in long pants ALL summer. I was stressing over this when I found the article in the paper and the MONEY prize is what I first noticed. It would help out with the vacation……spending money with THREE BOYS! Then it hit me….I could get healthy and lose my extra weight while trying for the money. It would be nice to win but I think being in this with so many other people for support will be the best prize of all(never really had support before). Good luck to all!
