Follow the rules to find true happiness

There is only one way to conquer disease, abuse, dependence, immorality and socialism in our country: Obedience to the laws and ordinances of God, which are (Exodus 20):

• Thou shalt have no other Gods before me.

• Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

• Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them.

• Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Please refrain from “oh my gosh, goodness, Word, gracious, God, Heavens, Lord.” Everything we have and are comes from God and should only be spoken of in love and reverence out of respect.

• Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Which means to be sanctified, or pure — free from the things of the world … in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates.

• Honor thy father and thy mother that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

• Thou shalt not kill.

• Thou shalt no commit adultery or fornication or homosexuality. (1 Thessalonians 4:3, Leviticus 20:13) Rome, Babylon, Greece, Sodom and Gomorrah all fell or were destroyed.

• Thou shalt not steal.

• Thou shalt not bear false witness.

• Thou shalt not covet.

• Ye shall not … print any marks upon you (tattoos). (Leviticus 19:28)

• In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread (Genesis 3:19). Work for what you need.

• Pay tithes and offerings. (MalachI 3:8)

• Eat fruits and “herbs” in the season thereof with prudence and thanksgiving — flesh sparingly in times of cold or famine (no pork), grain. Nothing harmful or addictive. (Doctrine and Covenants Section 89, Feb. 27, 1833; Daniel 1, President Brigham Young, President Boyd K. Packer)

• He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. (Mark 16:16)

It is not about fish, houses, careers, cars, snowmachines, alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, “junk” refined/processed food, chemical medications that weaken and destroy, pornography, tattoos, piercing, witchcraft, vampires, gambling, profit, etc. It is about people. It is about the eternal principles of God.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments,” the Lord said.

That, and only that, is where happiness, health, freedom, light and salvation are.
