WASILLA — Wasilla’s rough road through the regular season continued with another stop at West Anchorage High School Friday night.
West used a monster second quarter to score a 47-7 nonconference win over the Warriors in Anchorage.
Wasilla fell to 0-6 overall with the loss.
Hunter Hongslo connected with Jaden Walkemeyer on a 14-yard touchdown pass late in the game to spoil West’s shot at the shutout.
Walkemeyer led Wasilla with four catches for 28 yards. Aeron Milliron finished with a team-high 55 yards on the ground.
Wasilla caps its regular season with games against Valley rivals Colony and Palmer. The Warriors are at Colony Friday, and host the Moose Oct. 2.
