PALMER — Join Samantha Berg, former Sea World trainer, at Fireside Books at 3 p.m., today for a discussion about her role in a newly released book, “Death at Sea World,” by David Kirby.
Berg and three other former Sea World trainers were interviewed for the book, which takes an in-depth look behind the scenes at marine parks and gives readers a rare peek into the lives of wild killer whales through the eyes of Naomi Rose, senior scientist for the Humane Society International.
Books will be on sale at the talk.
People also can listen online to an interview Berg gave last week to Radio Free Palmer about her involvement with the book, the plight of killer whales in captivity and her experiences at Sea World. The audio is online at: tinyurl.com/97nu8cg.
