HOMER — Palmer’s top line of forwards continues to produce for the Moose.
Forwards Darren Fish, Taylor Foster and RJ Avezak factored into three goals during a 4-1 win over the Homer Mariners Thursday at the Kevin Bell Ice Arena in Homer.
Fish and Noah Keil each bagged a goal and an assist to help Palmer improve to 2-0 in North Star Conference play. Foster and Avezak also scored goals. Nathaniel Savel led Palmer with a pair of assists.
Palmer held a 3-0 lead before Homer found the back of the net early in the third. The Moose outshot Homer 27-18. Palmer goalie Cody Grogan stopped 17 shots in the win.
Palmer road trip continues Friday at 4 p.m. against Soldotna at the Soldotna Sports Center.
