Kenneth and Chrystal Foytik are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Allaina Mary Foytik to Adam Hank Simpson, son of Pastor Robert and Lori Simpson.
Allaina graduated from Mat-Su Central in 2011 and attended Crown College of the Bible in Powell, Tenn. She majored in Bible with an emphasis in sign language interpretation and special needs adult ministry. She was active in both these ministries and several others while attending there. She also received special recognition from both the Dean of Women and Dean of Men for her work in these areas. She returned to Palmer and continued her studies in sign language interpretation at the University of Alaska Mat-Su. Allaina teaches pre-kindergarten at Mouse Trap. She is very active in her church.
Adam graduated from Capitol City Baptist Christian School in 2004 and then attended Capitol City Baptist College, majoring in pastoral theology. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2007 and carries the rank of E6, staff sergeant first class, assigned to the 425th BSTD. He has done two tours of duty, one in Iraq and the other in Afghanistan, and received commendations during both tours. Adam is very active in his local church.
A March 30 wedding is planned in Anchorage.
