Memorial services for Frederick I Alley and his wife Alvera Mary Alley are set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at Wasilla Assembly of God. The Rev. John Wilson will officiate.
The Alleys died Dec. 23, 2002, as a result of a car accident.
Alvera Mary Sawyer was born Nov. 12, 1951, in Plainview, Neb. She was a barista owner and school bus driver.
Mr. Alley was born Dec. 4, 1948, in Glenwood, Iowa. He graduated from George Fox University. He was later a school bus driver and a pastor.
The couple lived in the Portland area for more than 20 years and were married in 1972. They moved to Alaska in 1976. Survivors include their daughters, Angela Jaeger and Amber Gail; sons, Clinton and Derek; and four grandchildren.
Her survivors also include her mother and stepfather, Almeda and John Hays.
His survivors also include his brothers, Roger and Bruce; and his sister, Leora Stevens.
Remembrances can be given to Valley Open Bible Fellowship in Houston.
