The Alaska State Fair announced Monday that the 406FMX Freestyle Motocross shows scheduled for August 16 and 17 have been canceled following an accident in the Lower 48.
“While transporting equipment to Alaska, the 406FMX team experienced an accident in the Lower 48. Unfortunately, some of the specialized equipment—essential for pulling off their high-flying, X Games- and Nitro Circus-level tricks—was damaged beyond what could be repaired or replaced in time for this year’s show,” the Alaska State Fair wrote on social media.
“We wish the 406FMX crew the best as they recover and regroup, and we hope to welcome them to the Fair in the future.”
All 406FMX Freestyle Motocross ticket holders who purchased tickets from the alaskastatefair.org website will automatically receive a full refund, including fees. Depending on the bank, please allow up to a week for the refund to be reflected on the credit card of purchase.
