WASILLA — Earlier in the week, Reese Sande needed six minutes to notch a hat trick to a win over Palmer.
Saturday, it took 11.
The Wasilla freshman notched a natural hat trick during an 11-minute span of the first half to lead the Wasilla Warriors to an 8-0 nonconference win over the Lathrop Malemutes Saturday morning at Wasilla High School.
Sande gave the Warriors a 3-0 advantage during the 27th minute, and added goals during the 32nd and 38the minutes of the victory. Alia Donley added a pair of goals for the Warriors. Abby Crawford, Nicole Cotlett and Ally Hull also scored.
Hull and Donley led Wasilla with two assists each.
Maclaren Obremski recorded the shutout for the Warriors.
