Home invasion
BIG LAKE — Alaska State Troopers say a home on North Rogers Road was the scene of a home invasion Sunday.
According to a trooper press release, troopers were called to the home at about 2:16 a.m.
Troopers say three men forced their way into the home and held the people inside at gunpoint, eventually making off with $700 worth of items.
One man received a minor cut on his back when he was pushed to the floor during the robbery, troopers say.

Big thefts at home
WASILLA — A home on Bogard Road was burglarized sometime in the past week and three rather bulky items were stolen.
According to an Alaska State Trooper press statement, at 2:10 p.m. they were called to the home. On scene, they learned that sometime between that afternoon and 12 p.m. Jan. 17 someone entered the garage of the home.
The thieves made off with a riding lawnmower and a gas barbecue grill. They also entered the home, making off with the combination range/oven.

Attempted bribery
BIG LAKE — A Big Lake man being arrested for drunken driving allegedly tried to bribe the officer taking him into custody.
According to Alaska State Troopers, Bryce D. Unger, 43, was passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle at the intersection of Wilma St. and Beaver Lake Rd.
Troopers report they arrested him for DUI and afterwards, “he offered Troopers money to let him go.”
Unger was jailed at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $10,000 bail charged with misdemeanor DUI and felony bribery. Records Monday afternoon showed he’s still in jail.
