Alison Bradley, finance secretary at the Mat-Su Borough, was among dozens of borough employees and family members who participated in a blood drive Aug. 3. Overall, the effort saw them donate 32 pints of blood in a single day, a record for the borough staff. Those donations have the potential to save up to 96 lives, said Troy Palmer, community coordinator for the Blood Bank of Alaska.
