The articles I read concerning Su Valley High School always say that the school is “in” Talkeetna.
It is not.
The physical location of the school is in Sunshine, or the Y community, depending on the conversation. It is 14 miles from Talkeetna, 16 miles from Trapper Creek, 10 miles from Caswell and 25 miles from Willow — all of which and parts in between populate the school.
If you are going to report on the happenings in the northern valley then please learn your geography to get these communities correct. After all you don’t want us confusing Palmer and Wasilla do you?
