I had a great time at the “New Year, New You” class Tuesday night at the AT&T Sports Center. What a bunch of nice people! I’m talking about both the trainers and the other participants in the class. I won’t be a regular in that particular program as it doesn’t work with my schedule, but I’m glad to have experienced it.
The diet is going well so far. I am doing Atkins, which I’ve done before with pretty good success. The trick, as always, is keeping off the weight we lose. I’m planning to use Atkins as a jump start for a month or so, and then switch to something that includes a greater variety of foods. There are some positive changes since last time I tried this diet. For example, they focus a lot more on eating a lot of low-carb vegetables, and they suggest portion control on the meat and cheese that are the staples of the diet. Anyone else out there doing Atkins? If not, what diet are you doing?
