PALMER — The Colony Knights have won the 2008 Northern Lights Conference championship with a 60-49 win over the Wasilla Warriors on Saturday at Palmer High School.
Junior Alex Coon scored a game-high 22 points in the win. Junior Kara Larson added 11.
Junior Jenna Johnson recorded a team-high 17 points, but was held scoreless in the fourth quarter.
Colony's win snaps Wasilla's seven-year reign as region champs.
