The Glenn Highway Scenic Byway Partnership Board has scheduled a membership meeting for Jan. 22 at the Agate Inn.
The 7 p.m. meeting will be a general membership meeting to organize efforts on implementing an interpretive plan for the byway.
The process will bring together local residents, businesses and communities to identify interpretive opportunities and expand support for the Glenn Highway Scenic Byway.
The public is invited to attend the meeting.
The Glenn Highway was designated a National Scenic Byway by U.S. Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta in June 2002.
The Glenn Highway, through the byway program has received a federal grant of $140,000 to draft a plan and enhance the scenic highway with interpretative signage.
Participation of residents along the byway is encouraged.
