Go and make Wasilla High proud!

Welcome families, friends, faculty and Class of 2009!

I want to start off with a quote from Orrin Hatch:

‘There is a good reason they call these ceremonies "commencement exercises." Graduation is not the end; it's the beginning.’

We are approaching the next stage in life. We have so much to look forward to: college, a career, and a life on our own. And during all of this we will have many great memories to look back on, whether it’s laughing at the innocent jokes made in calculus, goofing off in our classes, or just hanging out at lunch time with our buddies. Some of us will have our school trips abroad to Russia, Spain, and Costa Rica to remember. We will also have the memories of stressfully cramming last minute for tests and finals and then the relief to know that we did okay in the end. All of these came along with the education that we have received, which made us the people that we are today. We are the proud graduating Class of 2009.

For my personal gratitude:

I want to thank my family and my friends for supporting me through my school career. I want to thank my teachers for being so patient and helpful with me and my whole class. And most of all, I want to thank the Lord for helping me get this far in life.

I wish you all the best so go and make Wasilla High School proud!

Thank you and God bless!
