One doesn’t need a crystal ball to see that God’s loving presence fills the world. Our faith gives us assurance and a firmer foundation than any political leader or financial structure.
“Put not your trust in the strength of horses,” the Bible reads from long ago, and it’s still good advice.
Have we put to much faith in one man to solve this nation’s problems? We must and need to look to God our Creator to solve this dilemma while inspiring us to give up insipid worldly ways, following the precepts of his written and living word. This is the only answer that will lead us out of the quandary we’re in.
The people have chosen their king … right or wrong he is only human. We need to pray for him, asking God to guide him as he plunges into this abysmal plight greed has created. Time to give up our differences, coming together in spiritual unity overriding dissension. But remember, God gave us the gift of peace unless we accept peace we will not have it.
