Good luck to new school

To the editor:

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Mat-Su Borough School District for hosting me and other legislators at the ribbon-cutting for the new Fred and Sara Machetanz Elementary School. The principal, Tom Lytle, did a very nice job making all of us welcome in the new school.

I am pleased to be part of the Alaska Legislature that helped make this school a reality. Good luck to all the students and faculty that will pass through the doors of this wonderful school in the many years to come.
