We identify with that portion of Boyd Connolly’s letter of Jan. 13 regarding not receiving a response from the governor to any of his five e-mail messages. We have written Governor Palin three times and have not received even an acknowledgment, much less a detailed response. In past administrations, when any correspondence was received, it was answered. Agencies had about a 10-day turn-around time, meaning that an answer was composed and sent for a signature within that time. These experiences do not reflect well on the “open administration” we were promised.
