The annual Governor’s Family Picnic at the Alaska State Fairgrounds Aug. 10 was a tremendous success, showing that a strong, family friendly community is growing and thriving in the Mat-Su Valley.
Sandy and I thank the organizing committee, the many volunteers and most of all each of you who came by to celebrate an Alaska summer day with food and fun activities.
It was great to visit with old and new friends and we enjoyed serving you. Thank you, Mat-Su!
