To the editor:
It seems there is much controversy in your newspaper and community pertaining to your governor and former mayor, Sarah Palin. Equally there seems to be similar controversy in the national news. We all know a reporter will chase a story or a person who wants to be a story.
Since I am from Wisconsin and do not claim to know the history of your governor other than the way she represented herself in the general election, I can only comment as I see her these past few months. Now that the election is long over, why is she seeking the limelight of the media? I would agree with the fellow that wrote a day or so ago criticizing the media of the Lower 48. However, when I read her complaints of media treatment and questions comparing her media coverage to Caroline Kennedy,
I have to ask myself, whom is pursuing whom. I assume she has duties of office in governing Alaska. If a person really wants to be yesterday’s news, they simply tend to there own job, family and ignore the gossips and press.
Thank you for your time.
