WASILLA — A grand jury has indicted a Palmer man on a felony DUI charge.
Joseph Lorenzen, 38, was originally arrested on July 6 after Alaska Wildlife Troopers found that he was driving a 23-foot jet boat on Big Lake while under the influence. Lorenzen was also arrested on a $1,000 warrant out of Anchorage for violating the conditions of his release on a previous DUI, according to the Alaska State Troopers.
The grand jury indictment was announced on Friday.
In the prior offense, Lorenzen was arrested for DUI Jan. 11, 2018, in Anchorage, according to online court records.
