Grand slam thanks

We want to express our appreciation for everything donated to the Mat-Su Miners Grand Slam Raffle by Coca-Cola – Odom Corp.; United Rental; Erica Bills and family; Coffee Roastery; Tammy at Homestate Mortage; and Great Bear Brewing Co. Thanks to Andrew and his crew at Special Events for arranging a canopy on short notice, and the Alaska State Fair for being so accommodating and helpful. You all ROCK!

This year’s volunteers were unbelievable! Palmer High and Colony High school baseball teams really came out and supported the effort. Colony set up Raven Hall the day before the raffle, and Palmer did dishes, cleared tables and emptied garbage the night of the raffle. Both teams really stepped up to the plate and hit a home run.
